The whole reason we went: Andrea Bocelli!!!! So, just before our incredibly awesome babysitter showed up (Thanks again Kerri), we read that it wasn't a concert we though, but a full fledged Opera. We were more than disappointed. We get to the theatre and find our seats-we can't see the stage. At all. The stairs COMPLETELY blocked our view. We were mad!! We talked to people and eventually found seats we could fork out another fifty bucks for, but at least we could see. It was neat seeing Bocelli "act" in the opera. He is blind, but you never would've guessed. Incredible! Derek's highlight: Tony Parker- point gaurd for the Spurs. Yep, right next to him. Three times. We respected his privacy and didn't bug him, but it still was AWESOME!!! D says if the opera is good enough for Tony Parker it's good enough for him!!!

Brendan was sure to buckle Bear Bear up for the flight. We made it safely back to Utah. Brendan did say repeatedly "We are going to crash!!!" Luckily we didn't :)

Getting three suitcases and 2 carseats where they needed to go was quite the event. Luckily, there were Good Samaratins around and helped us-even scored a free luggage cart on one leg!!

We got back late Wednesday night. Derek started our car, and the Serpentine belt blew. So we were stranded at the airport for a few hours. My bro came and picked us up and we went and stayed at my Aunt's house in Draper. We towed our car to their mechanic (hopefully he will fix it tomorrow!!) and went to bed around midnight. Thanksgiving morning, we woke up and took my Uncle's car up to Twin to my parents. (My Aunt & Uncle were there). I am so grateful for an incredible family, and an Aunt & Uncle who were willing to let us borrow their car for awhile! Quite the trip. We made it to Twin and had a great time. My niece kept dressing Brendan up. Brendan loved being a fairy and dancing around. For some reason, Derek didn't get a picture of that!!! Here he is as a witch!

The day after Thanksgiving, we celebrated my Gma's birthday. I was so grateful to be there to celebrate with her. She is an incredible woman, and I am so thankful to have had her influence in my life. Love you Grams!
